PATHBREAKERS: HEROINES OF OREGON SUFFRAGE
Summer Show 2024

Coming this July!  In the writer and directors own words:

I have always valued my right to vote.  America is an amazing country that allows us to participate in choosing our leaders and laws…we might not always get what we vote for but I always feel our vote does

count.  I registered Voters in my home state of Vermont at 19 and I felt privileged to work with the Curry County League of Women Voters here in Gold Beach.  It’s none of my business who or what you vote for but it is good to remember the lives lost and the struggle citizens went through to gain this right we too often take for granted.

“Pathbreakers: Heroines of Oregon Suffrage” was written for the 100th Anniversary of Women obtaining the Right to Vote Nationally.  Oregon women already had the vote 6 years earlier because of the inspiration and dedication of a few strong American women.  Join us in celebrating this history of the state we love and cherish with a musical you can sing along with! God Bless America!

The Outsider
Fall Show 2024

Coming this September is a comedy being directed by Debbie Roush called "The Outsider." No, don't go thinking you're going to see Pony Boy and Soda Pop...that is "The Outsiders!"  This crazy play is a parody about politics!  I know you are all going to be sick to death of the political ads and the insanity of the Presidential election by September...so come to this play and laugh at the absurdity of politics!

This play is a laugh-out-loud whimsical farce, as if Oscar Wilde has come back from the dead to write an episode of "The West Wing!"

Ned Newley doesn't even want to be Governor. He's terrified of public speaking; his poll numbers are impressively bad. To his ever-supportive Chief of Staff, Ned seems destined to fail.

But political consultant Arthur Nance sees things differently: Ned might be the worst candidate to ever run for office. Unless the public is looking for...the worst candidate to ever run for office!

Don't miss this hilarious play...you might just want to write in "Ned Newley" on your ballot this year!

Behind the Scenes Tombstone

"You just lay one finger on me, Wyatt Earp, and I'll take this frying pan and flatten your head like a table top."
